The type seal can replace with Johncrane type 4620 cartridge seal.

1,Dual seal arrangement - incorporates an elastomer O-ring as the dynamic secondary sealing member
2,Inboard primary and mating ring reverse balance design allows for ID or OD pressurization, permitting the dual seal to operate as an unpressurized tandem or pressurized double seal

4,Cartridge design with factory-preset and pressure-tested assembly
Typical Applications::



Double end, multiple springs, balanced, independent rotary direction, still structure, clamp transmission and cartridge seal. The compensation components are assembled into the flange and the elastomers protects the springs from the mediums to make sure the springs will not be jammed. Multiple springs make the loads on the seal faces balanced. The second end seal at the sealant side accomplish the second sealing and prevent the leakage of the mediums and sealants. The sleeve are supported by the elastomers on the shaft and there is no axial movement and no damage to the shaft. The seal faces are close to the rotor and have high cooling and lubrication efficiency. The special design of this seal can work with counter pressure and there are diversion trenches inside the flange so that the cooling effects are evenly distributed. This seal has to work with flush system and the sealant pressure should be 0.1 - 0.3 MPa and flow rate should be 3 - 8 L per minute.
